3 Things We Love About Lakeside Estates

Lakeside Estates is a community with a small town feel and comfortable, moderately paced, lifestyle. This well-established community is developing the adjacent lots, doubling in size, and has become popular for more of a “rural americana” development. It certainly comes off as a traditional feel with sleek contemporary home designs geared to attract the new or recent retirees, or even the late working seniors.
Here are 3 main things we love about this community:
It’s the Perfect Size There are approximately 70 homes on one side of the community, and 70 free spaces on the other side. Development has gotten underway in 2021. Lakeside Estates contracted with Sunbelt Homes to design and order, set and 10 new Palm Harbor Homes. The Homes became finished in June, and as of Mid-July there are only 4 left.
It’s the Perfect Home We put a lot of thought on the design and set up of these homes. On the outside there is a complete package including 8x12 storage building, 18x14 screen room and a large double carport. That’s unique in itself, but we went further. We know as a senior ages, hips, knees and backs aren’t as versatile, so we thought a maximum of 2 steps into the home was a priority. We also put the air handler inside the home for peak energy efficiency and a sealed air environment. The inside also boasts of sleek designs and colors, luxury vinyl plank floors through the main areas of the house, and double pane easy clean windows.
It's in the Perfect Location The community is located on Lake Enola which is a 45-acre spring fed lake. The community has a fishing pier and area to launch kayaks and canoes. The community offers free storage so if you had a boat, you could launch it on the lake. There is some big bass in there! The community is only 2 miles away from the Lake County fair grounds that has run a multi-decade long flea market on every Thursday. Along with fresh fruits and vegetables, walk around dozens of different venders for many of your shopping needs. And if you like to ride motorcycles, this is the best riding in Florida. We have trails, springs, rolling hills and is close to either coast, away from traffic!
BONUS – The clubhouse is a grand space to peak some of your interests. Whether you want to work out on the treadmills, read in the library or watch movies in the theatre room, there is always something to do. My favorite is shuffleboard. The grandkids love the heated pool and its great exercise for anyone. Also enjoy the jacuzzi!!
